2 Samuel 6:18

And as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt
offerings and peace offerings
Or these were performed according to his order:

he blessed the people in the name of the Lord of hosts;
not as a priest, but as a prince, as the common father of them, wishing them all happiness and prosperity outward and inward, praying to God to bless them with all blessings temporal and spiritual, who is the God of armies above and below, and can do what he pleases, and more than his people can ask or think.

16 耶 和 華 的 約 櫃 進 了 大 衛 城 的 時 候 ， 掃 羅 的 女 兒 米 甲 從 窗 戶 裡 觀 看 ， 見 大 衛 王 在 耶 和 華 面 前 踴 躍 跳 舞 ， 心 裡 就 輕 視 他 。

17 眾 人 將 耶 和 華 的 約 櫃 請 進 去 ， 安 放 在 所 預 備 的 地 方 ， 就 是 在 大 衛 所 搭 的 帳 幕 裡 。 大 衛 在 耶 和 華 面 前 獻 燔 祭 和 平 安 祭 。

19 並 且 分 給 以 色 列 眾 人 ， 無 論 男 女 ， 每 人 一 個 餅 ， 一 塊 肉 ， 一 個 葡 萄 餅 ； 眾 人 就 各 回 各 家 去 了 。

20 大 衛 回 家 要 給 眷 屬 祝 福 ； 掃 羅 的 女 兒 米 甲 出 來 迎 接 他 ， 說 ： 以 色 列 王 今 日 在 臣 僕 的 婢 女 眼 前 露 體 ， 如 同 一 個 輕 賤 人 無 恥 露 體 一 樣 ， 有 好 大 的 榮 耀 啊 ！
