13 葡 萄 樹 回 答 說 ： 我 豈 肯 止 住 使 　 神 和 人 喜 樂 的 新 酒 ， 飄 颻 在 眾 樹 之 上 呢 。

Judges 9:13

And the vine said unto them
By way of denial and refusal, as the other two:

shall I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man;
which being used in the drink offerings was acceptable to God, and of a sweet savour to him, ( Numbers 15:7 ) and being drank by than, revives, refreshes, and makes glad, when before sorrowful, drooping, faint, and weary, ( Psalms 104:15 ) though some by Elohim, rendered God, understand great personages, as men of quality, magistrates and by man the common people, and so in ( Judges 9:9 )

and go to be promoted over the trees?
all speak the same language, being of the same sentiment.

11 無 花 果 樹 回 答 說 ： 我 豈 肯 止 住 所 結 甜 美 的 果 子 ， 飄 颻 在 眾 樹 之 上 呢 ？

12 樹 木 對 葡 萄 樹 說 ： 請 你 來 作 我 們 的 王 。

13 葡 萄 樹 回 答 說 ： 我 豈 肯 止 住 使 　 神 和 人 喜 樂 的 新 酒 ， 飄 颻 在 眾 樹 之 上 呢 。

14 眾 樹 對 荊 棘 說 ： 請 你 來 作 我 們 的 王 。

15 荊 棘 回 答 說 ： 你 們 若 誠 誠 實 實 地 膏 我 為 王 ， 就 要 投 在 我 的 蔭 下 ； 不 然 ， 願 火 從 荊 棘 裡 出 來 ， 燒 滅 利 巴 嫩 的 香 柏 樹 。
