15 倘 若 照 麥 基 洗 德 的 樣 式 ， 另 外 興 起 一 位 祭 司 來 ， 我 的 話 更 是 顯 而 易 見 的 了 。

Hebrews 7:15

And it is yet far more evident
From a fact which cannot be denied;

for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another
priest;
or another has risen, even Jesus the son of David, of the tribe of Judah; another from Aaron, one that is not of his family or tribe, but one like to Melchizedek: hence we learn that Melchizedek and Christ are not the same person; and that the order and similitude of Melchizedek are the same; and that Christ's being of his order only imports that there is a resemblance and likeness between him and Melchizedek, in many things, which are observed in the beginning of this chapter: and this "arising" does not intend Christ's setting up himself, only his appearance in this form; and being expressed in the present tense, denotes the continual being, and virtue of his priesthood.

13 因 為 這 話 所 指 的 人 本 屬 別 的 支 派 ， 那 支 派 裡 從 來 沒 有 一 人 伺 候 祭 壇 。

14 我 們 的 主 分 明 是 從 猶 大 出 來 的 ； 但 這 支 派 ， 摩 西 並 沒 有 提 到 祭 司 。

16 他 成 為 祭 司 ， 並 不 是 照 屬 肉 體 的 條 例 ， 乃 是 照 無 窮 （ 原 文 是 不 能 毀 壞 ） 之 生 命 的 大 能 。

17 因 為 有 給 他 作 見 證 的 說 ： 你 是 照 著 麥 基 洗 德 的 等 次 永 遠 為 祭 司 。
