26 義 人 若 轉 離 義 行 而 作 罪 孽 死 亡 ， 他 是 因 所 作 的 罪 孽 死 亡 。

Ezekiel 18:26

When a righteous [man] turneth away from his righteousness,
&c.] This is repeated for the further confirmation of it, and to raise their attention to it; to make it more plain and manifest to them, and to fix it upon their minds: and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them:
or, "he shall die for them" {m}; both for his turning away from his righteousness, and for his committing iniquity: for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die;
in both respects. This is repeated to denote the certainty of it.

24 義 人 若 轉 離 義 行 而 作 罪 孽 ， 照 著 惡 人 所 行 一 切 可 憎 的 事 而 行 ， 他 豈 能 存 活 麼 ？ 他 所 行 的 一 切 義 都 不 被 記 念 ； 他 必 因 所 犯 的 罪 、 所 行 的 惡 死 亡 。

25 你 們 還 說 ： 主 的 道 不 公 平 ！ 以 色 列 家 啊 ， 你 們 當 聽 ， 我 的 道 豈 不 公 平 麼 ？ 你 們 的 道 豈 不 是 不 公 平 麼 ？

26 義 人 若 轉 離 義 行 而 作 罪 孽 死 亡 ， 他 是 因 所 作 的 罪 孽 死 亡 。

27 再 者 ， 惡 人 若 回 頭 離 開 所 行 的 惡 ， 行 正 直 與 合 理 的 事 ， 他 必 將 性 命 救 活 了 。

28 因 為 他 思 量 ， 回 頭 離 開 所 犯 的 一 切 罪 過 ， 必 定 存 活 ， 不 致 死 亡 。
