約書亞記 22:7 Meaning and Commentary

Joshua 22:7

Now to the [one] half of the tribe of Manasseh Moses had given
[possession] in Bashan
The kingdom of Og, see ( Deuteronomy 3:13 ) ;

but unto the [other] half thereof gave Joshua among their brethren on
this side Jordan westward:
of which an account is given, and the border of their lot described, ( Joshua 17:1-18 ) ;

and when Joshua sent them also unto their tents, then he blessed them;
it seems as if this half tribe was separately dismissed and blessed, they being more nearly related to Joshua, who was of the tribe of Ephraim, and so had a more particular dismission and blessing; and he took his leave of them in a different and affectionate manner. Kimchi makes mention of a Derash, or Exposition of theirs, which says, that after they had taken leave they stayed two days, and returned and took leave a second time, and which he understands of them all, and not of the half tribe only; but it is plainly the half tribe that is only spoken of.

5 只 要 切 切 的 謹 慎 遵 行 耶 和 華 僕 人 摩 西 所 吩 咐 你 們 的 誡 命 律 法 ， 愛 耶 和 華 ─ 你 們 的 　 神 ， 行 他 一 切 的 道 ， 守 他 的 誡 命 ， 專 靠 他 ， 盡 心 盡 性 事 奉 他 。

6 於 是 約 書 亞 為 他 們 祝 福 ， 打 發 他 們 去 ， 他 們 就 回 自 己 的 帳 棚 去 了 。

8 對 他 們 說 ： 你 們 帶 許 多 財 物 ， 許 多 牲 畜 和 金 、 銀 、 銅 、 鐵 ， 並 許 多 衣 服 ， 回 你 們 的 帳 棚 去 ， 要 將 你 們 從 仇 敵 奪 來 的 物 ， 與 你 們 眾 弟 兄 同 分 。

9 於 是 流 便 人 、 迦 得 人 、 瑪 拿 西 半 支 派 的 人 從 迦 南 地 的 示 羅 起 行 ， 離 開 以 色 列 人 ， 回 往 他 們 得 為 業 的 基 列 地 ， 就 是 照 耶 和 華 藉 摩 西 所 吩 咐 的 得 了 為 業 之 地 。
