13 我 賜 給 你 們 地 土 ， 非 你 們 所 修 治 的 ； 我 賜 給 你 們 城 邑 ， 非 你 們 所 建 造 的 。 你 們 就 住 在 其 中 ， 又 得 吃 非 你 們 所 栽 種 的 葡 萄 園 、 橄 欖 園 的 果 子 。

Joshua 24:13

And I have given you a land for which you did not labour
Or, in which ^F26, by manuring and cultivating it, by dunging, and ploughing, and sowing:

and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them;
neither built the houses in them, nor the walls and fortifications about them; in which now they dwelt safely, and at ease, and which had been promised them as well as what follows; see ( Deuteronomy 6:10 Deuteronomy 6:11 ) ,

of the vineyards and oliveyards, which ye planted not, do ye eat;
thus far an account is given of the many mercies they had been and were favoured with, and thus far are the words of the Lord by Joshua; next follow the use and improvement Joshua made of them.

11 你 們 過 了 約 但 河 ， 到 了 耶 利 哥 ； 耶 利 哥 人 、 亞 摩 利 人 、 比 利 洗 人 、 迦 南 人 、 赫 人 、 革 迦 撒 人 、 希 未 人 、 耶 布 斯 人 都 與 你 們 爭 戰 ； 我 把 他 們 交 在 你 們 手 裡 。

12 我 打 發 黃 蜂 飛 在 你 們 前 面 ， 將 亞 摩 利 人 的 二 王 從 你 們 面 前 攆 出 ， 並 不 是 用 你 的 刀 ， 也 不 是 用 你 的 弓 。

14 現 在 你 們 要 敬 畏 耶 和 華 ， 誠 心 實 意 的 事 奉 他 ， 將 你 們 列 祖 在 大 河 那 邊 和 在 埃 及 所 事 奉 的 　 神 除 掉 ， 去 事 奉 耶 和 華 。

15 若 是 你 們 以 事 奉 耶 和 華 為 不 好 ， 今 日 就 可 以 選 擇 所 要 事 奉 的 ： 是 你 們 列 祖 在 大 河 那 邊 所 事 奉 的 　 神 呢 ？ 是 你 們 所 住 這 地 的 亞 摩 利 人 的 　 神 呢 ？ 至 於 我 和 我 家 ， 我 們 必 定 事 奉 耶 和 華 。
