8 我 領 你 們 到 約 但 河 東 亞 摩 利 人 所 住 之 地 。 他 們 與 你 們 爭 戰 ， 我 將 他 們 交 在 你 們 手 中 ， 你 們 便 得 了 他 們 的 地 為 業 ； 我 也 在 你 們 面 前 將 他 們 滅 絕 。

Joshua 24:8

And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt
on the other side Jordan
The kingdoms of Sihon and Og, and they fought with you; the two kings of them, and their armies:

and I gave them into your hand, that ye might possess their land;
and which was now possessed by the two tribes of Reuben and Gad, and the half tribe of Manasseh:

and I destroyed them from before you;
the kings, their forces, and the inhabitants of their countries; the history of which see in ( Numbers 21:10-35 ) .

6 我 領 你 們 列 祖 出 埃 及 ， 他 們 就 到 了 紅 海 ； 埃 及 人 帶 領 車 輛 馬 兵 追 趕 你 們 列 祖 到 紅 海 。

7 你 們 列 祖 哀 求 耶 和 華 ， 他 就 使 你 們 和 埃 及 人 中 間 黑 暗 了 ， 又 使 海 水 淹 沒 埃 及 人 。 我 在 埃 及 所 行 的 事 ， 你 們 親 眼 見 過 。 你 們 在 曠 野 也 住 了 許 多 年 日 。

9 那 時 ， 摩 押 王 西 撥 的 兒 子 巴 勒 起 來 攻 擊 以 色 列 人 ， 打 發 人 召 了 比 珥 的 兒 子 巴 蘭 來 咒 詛 你 們 。

10 我 不 肯 聽 巴 蘭 的 話 ， 所 以 他 倒 為 你 們 連 連 祝 福 。 這 樣 ， 我 便 救 你 們 脫 離 巴 勒 的 手 。
