Then the word of the Lord came to Jehu the son of Hanani,
&c.] The seer that reproved Asa, ( 2 Chronicles 16:7 ) , so that this man was the son of a prophet then living, and was a young man; for we hear of him several years after reproving Jehoshaphat, ( 2 Chronicles 19:2 ) , and as a writer of history, ( 2 Chronicles 20:34 ) , the prophecy that came to him from the Lord was

1 Yēhéhuá de huà líndào Hānání de érzi yé hù , zébeì bā shā shuō ,

2 Wǒ jì cóng chén āi zhōng tí bá nǐ , lì nǐ zuò wǒ mín Yǐsèliè de jūn , nǐ jìng xíng Yéluóbōān suǒ xíng de dào , shǐ wǒ mín Yǐsèliè xiàn zaì zuì lǐ , rĕ wǒ fānù ,

3 Wǒ bì chú jǐn nǐ hé nǐde jiā , shǐ nǐde jiā xiàng ní bā de érzi Yéluóbōān de jiā yíyàng .

4 Fán shǔ bā shā de rén , sǐ zaì chéng zhōng de bì beì gǒu chī , sǐ zaì tiānyĕ de bì beì kōng zhōng de niǎo chī .

5 Bā shā qíyú de shì , fán tā suǒ xíng de hé tāde yǒng lì , dōu xiĕ zaì Yǐsèliè zhū wáng jì shàng .
