Mínshùjì 36:2

2 Shuō , Yēhéhuá céng fēnfu wǒ zhǔ niānjiū fēn dì gĕi Yǐsèliè rén wéi yè , wǒ zhǔ yĕ shòu le Yēhéhuá de fēnfu jiàng wǒmen xiōngdi xī luo fēi hā de chǎnyè fèn gĕi tāde zhòng nǚér .

Mínshùjì 36:2 Meaning and Commentary

Numbers 36:2

And they said
One in the name of the rest:

the Lord commanded my lord;
that is, Moses, whom they address in a very respectable manner, being the chief governor of the nation under God:

to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel;
which command may be seen, in ( Numbers 26:53-56 ) :

and my lord was commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of
Zelophehad our brother;
or kinsman, being of the same tribe:

unto his daughters;
who sued for it, and upon Moses's consulting the Lord about it, it was ordered they should have it, ( Numbers 27:1-11 ) and which these princes observed was likely to be attended with the following inconvenience.

1 Yūesè de hòuyì , Mǎnáxī de sūnzi , Machir de érzi Jīliè , tā zǐsūn zhōng de zhū zúzhǎng lái dào Móxī hé zuò shǒulǐng de yǐ sè liè rén zúzhǎng miànqián ,

2 Shuō , Yēhéhuá céng fēnfu wǒ zhǔ niānjiū fēn dì gĕi Yǐsèliè rén wéi yè , wǒ zhǔ yĕ shòu le Yēhéhuá de fēnfu jiàng wǒmen xiōngdi xī luo fēi hā de chǎnyè fèn gĕi tāde zhòng nǚér .

3 Tāmen ruò jià Yǐsèliè bié zhīpaì de rén , jiù bì jiàng wǒmen zǔzong suǒ wèi liú de chǎnyè jiā zaì tāmen zhàngfu zhīpaì de chǎnyè zhōng . zhèyàng , wǒmen niānjiū suǒ de de chǎnyè jiù yào jiǎnshǎo le .

4 Dào le Yǐsèliè rén de xǐ nián , zhè nǚér de chǎnyè jiù Bìjiā zaì tāmen zhàngfu zhīpaì de chǎnyè shàng . zhèyàng , wǒmen zǔzong zhīpaì de chǎnyè jiù jiǎnshǎo le .

5 Móxī zhào Yēhéhuá de huà fēnfu Yǐsèliè rén shuō , Yūesè zhīpaì de rén shuō de yǒu lǐ .
