24 Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , wǒ bì zhào zhe zaì Yóudà wáng miànqián suǒ dòu nà shū shàng de yīqiè zhòuzǔ , jiàng huò yǔ zhè dì hé qí shàng de jūmín .

25 Yīnwei tāmen lí qì wǒ , xiàng bié shén shāoxiāng , yòng tāmen shǒu suǒ zuò de rĕ wǒ fānù , suǒyǐ wǒde fèn nù rú huǒ dǎo zaì zhè dì shàng , zǒng bù xī miè .

26 Ránér chāiqiǎn nǐmen lái qiú wèn Yēhéhuá de Yóudà wáng , nǐmen yào zhèyàng huí fù tā shuō , Yēhéhuá Yǐsèliè de shén rúcǐ shuō , zhìyú nǐ suǒ tīngjian de huà ,

27 Jiù shì tīngjian wǒ zhǐ zhe zhè dì hé qí shàng jūmín suǒ shuō de huà , nǐ biàn xīnli jìng fù , zaì wǒ miànqián zìbēi , sī liè yīfu , xiàng wǒ kūqì , yīncǐ wǒ yīngyún le nǐ . zhè shì wǒ Yēhéhuá shuō de .

28 Wǒ bì shǐ nǐ píng píngān ān dì guī dào fùnmù , dào nǐ lièzǔ nàli , wǒ yào jiàng yǔ zhè dì hé qí shàng jūmín de yīqiè zāihuò , nǐ yĕ bù zhì qīnyǎn kànjian . tāmen jiù huí fù wáng qù le .

INTRODUCTION TO 2 CHRONICLES 34

This chapter begins with the good reign of Josiah, the reformation he made in the land, purging it from idolatry, 2Ch 34:1-7, relates the orders he gave to repair the house of the Lord, which was accordingly done, 2Ch 34:8-13, when the book of the law was found and brought to him, which greatly affected him, 2Ch 34:12-19, upon which he deputed some persons to inquire of the Lord, who did of Huldah the prophetess, to whom she gave an answer, which they returned to the king, 2Ch 34:20-28 and the chapter is concluded with an account of reading the book in the ears of all the people, and of the king, and then making a covenant with the Lord to serve him, 2Ch 34:27-33.
