1 Samuel 1:25

And they slew a bullock
One of the three Hannah brought, unless the singular is put for the plural, and so all three were slain, some for sacrifice, and some for food perhaps; or if only one was slain, it might be offered as a sacrifice previous to the presentation of Samuel; or else was made a present of to Eli, at the introduction of Samuel to him, as follows:

and brought the child to Eli:
to be under his care, to he instructed and trained up by him in the service of the tabernacle; from hence it appears that Elkanah the husband of Hannah came along with her at this time.

23 Tā zhàngfu Yǐlìjiāná shuō , jiù suí nǐde yì xíng ba . kĕyǐ dĕng érzi duàn le nǎi . dàn yuàn Yēhéhuá yìngyàn tāde huà . yúshì fùrén zaì jiā lǐ rǔ érzi , zhídào duàn le nǎi .

24 Jì duàn le nǎi , jiù bǎ háizi daì shàng Shìluó , dào le Yēhéhuá de diàn . yòu daì le sān zhǐ gōngniú , yī yīfǎ xì miàn , yī pídaì jiǔ . nàshí háizi hái xiǎo .

25 Zǎi le yī zhǐ gōngniú , jiù lǐng háizi dào Yǐlì miànqián .

26 Fùrén shuō , Zhǔ a , wǒ gǎn zaì nǐ miànqián qǐshì , cóng qián zaì nǐ zhèlǐ zhàn zhe qíqiú Yēhéhuá de nà fùrén , jiù shì wǒ .

27 Wǒ qíqiú wéi yào dé zhè háizi . Yēhéhuá yǐ jiāng wǒ suǒ qiú de cìgĕi wǒ le .
