9 Suǒyǐ Lìwèi rén zaì tā dìxiōng zhōng wú fēn wú yè , Yēhéhuá shì tāde chǎnyè , zhēng rú Yēhéhuá nǐ shén suǒ yīngxǔ tāde .

Deuteronomy 10:9

Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren,
&c.] In the division of the land of Canaan, because being separated to the service of the sanctuary, he had no leisure to plough and sow, as Jarchi observes:

the Lord is his inheritance,
as the Lord thy God promised him; not in a spiritual sense, for so the Lord was an inheritance and portion of other Israelites; though these being taken off of worldly employments, and devoted to sanctuary service, might have more communion with God than others; but in a temporal sense, provision being made particularly by tithes, which were the Lord's, for their maintenance; and so the Targums of Onkelos and Jonathan paraphrase the words;

``gifts which the Lord gave him are his inheritance;''

7 Tāmen cóng nàli qǐ xíng , dào le gǔ gē dà , yòu cóng gǔ gē dà dào le yǒu xī shuǐ zhī dì de Yuēbā tā .

8 Nàshí , Yēhéhuá jiāng Lìwèi zhīpaì fēnbié chūlai , tái Yēhéhuá de yuē jǔ , yòu shì lì zaì Yēhéhuá miànqián shìfèng tā , fèng tāde míng zhùfú , zhídào jīnrì .

9 Suǒyǐ Lìwèi rén zaì tā dìxiōng zhōng wú fēn wú yè , Yēhéhuá shì tāde chǎnyè , zhēng rú Yēhéhuá nǐ shén suǒ yīngxǔ tāde .

10 Wǒ yòu xiàng cóng qián zaì shān shàng zhù le sì shí zhòuyè . nà cì Yēhéhuá yĕ yīngyún wǒ , bú rĕn jiāng nǐ mièjué .

11 Yēhéhuá fēnfu wǒ shuō , nǐ qǐlai yǐndǎo zhè bǎixìng , shǐ tāmen jìn qù de wǒ xiàng tāmen lièzǔ qǐshì yīngxǔ suǒ cì zhī dì .
