Deuteronomy 14:4

These are the beasts which they shall eat
That is, which they might lawfully eat of, which were allowed for their food; for they were not obliged to eat of them if they did not choose it:

the ox, the sheep, and the goat;
which were creatures used in sacrifice, and the only ones, yet nevertheless they might be used for food if chosen.

2 Yīnwei nǐ guī Yēhéhuá nǐ shén wéi shèngjié de mín , Yēhéhuá cóng dì shàng de wàn mín zhōng jiǎnxuǎn nǐ tè zuò zìjǐ de zǐmín .
3 Fán kè zēng de wù dōu bùkĕ chī .
4 Kè chī de shēngchù jiù shì niú , miányáng , shānyáng ,
5 Lù , líng yáng , paó zǐ , yĕ shānyáng , mí lù , huáng yáng , qīng yáng .
6 Fán fèn tí chéngwéi liǎng bàn yòu dǎo jiaó de zǒushòu , nǐmen dōu kĕyǐ chī .
