Deuteronomy 3:23

And I besought the Lord at that time
When he was told he should die, and Joshua should succeed him; or when the two kings were slain, and their kingdoms conquered; this being the beginning, pledge, and earnest of what God had promised to do for the people of Israel; Moses was very desirous of living to see the work completed, and therefore sought the Lord by prayer and supplication:

saying;
as follows.

21 Nàshí wǒ fēnfu Yuēshūyà shuō , nǐ qīnyǎn kànjian le Yēhéhuá nǐ shén xiàng zhè èr wáng suǒ xíng de . Yēhéhuá yĕ bì xiàng nǐ suǒ yào qù de gè guó zhàoyàng xíng .
22 Nǐ búyào pà tāmen , yīn nà wéi nǐ zhēng zhàn de shì Yēhéhuá nǐde shén .
23 Nàshí , wǒ kĕnqiú Yēhéhuá shuō ,
24 Zhǔ Yēhéhuá a , nǐ yǐ jiāng nǐde dàlì dà néng xiǎn gĕi púrén kàn . zaì tiān shàng , zaì dì xià , yǒu shénme shén néng xiàng nǐ xíngshì , xiàng nǐ yǒu dà néng de zuòwéi ne ,
25 Qiú nǐ róng wǒ guō qù , kàn Yuēdànhé nàbiān de mĕi dì , jiù shì nà jiā mĕi de shān dì hé Lìbānèn .
