5 Zhèxie chéng dōu yǒu jiāngù de gāo qiáng , yǒu mén yǒu shuān . cǐ waì hái yǒu xǔduō wú chéngqiáng de xiāngcūn .

Deuteronomy 3:5

All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars,
&c.] That is, all the cities in the kingdom of Bashan; and though they were, it hindered not their falling into the hands of the Israelites; and this might serve to encourage them against those fears they were possessed of by the spies, with respect to the cities in the land of Canaan; see ( Numbers 13:28 ) ( Deuteronomy 1:28 )

small towns and villages adjacent to the several cities, as is common.

3 Yúshì Yēhéhuá wǒmen de shén yìng jiāng Bāshān wáng Ě hé tāde zhòng mín dōu jiāo zaì wǒmen shǒu zhōng . wǒmen shā le tāmen , méiyǒu liú xià yī gè .

4 Nàshí , wǒmen duó le tā suǒyǒude chéng , gòng yǒu liù shí zuò , méiyǒu yī zuò chéng bú beì wǒmen suǒ duó . zhè wéi yà Ěr gē bǎi de quán jìng , jiù shì Bāshān dì è wáng de guó .

6 Wǒmen jiāng zhèxie dōu huǐmiè le , xiàng cóng qián daì Xīshíbĕn wáng Xīhóng yíyàng , bǎ yǒu rén yān de gè chéng , lián nǚrén daì háizi , jìn dōu huǐmiè .

7 Wéiyǒu yīqiè shēngchù hé chéng zhōng de cáiwù dōu qǔ wéi zìjǐ de luĕ wù .
