Acts 16:2

Which was well reported of
Not the father of Timothy, but Timothy himself; to whose piety, virtue, and good conversation witness was borne,

by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium;
the members of the churches which were in these places, and which were not far from one another; and as it is necessary that ministers of the Gospel should have a good report of them that are without, so likewise of them that are within; and the testimony of the latter is preferable to that of the former.

1 Bǎoluó lái dào tè bì , yòu dào lù sī dé . zaì nàli yǒu yī gè méntǔ , míng jiào Tímótaì , shì xìn zhǔ zhī Yóutaì fùrén de érzi , tā fùqin què shì Xīlà rén .

3 Bǎoluó yào daì tā tóng qù , zhǐ yīn nàxiē dìfang de Yóutaìrén , dōu zhīdào tā fùqin shì Xīlà rén , jiù gĕi tā xíng le gēlǐ .

4 Tāmen jīngguò gè chéng , bǎ Yēlùsǎlĕng shǐtú hé zhǎnglǎo suǒ déng de tiaó guī , jiāo gĕi méntǔ zūnshǒu .

5 Yúshì zhòng jiàohuì xìnxīn yuèfā jiāngù , rén shǔ tiāntiān jiā zēng .
