民数记 36:2

2 耶 和 华 曾 吩 咐 我 主 拈 阄 分 地 给 以 色 列 人 为 业 ， 我 主 也 受 了 耶 和 华 的 吩 咐 将 我 们 兄 弟 西 罗 非 哈 的 产 业 分 给 他 的 众 女 儿 。

Numbers 36:2

And they said
One in the name of the rest:

the Lord commanded my lord;
that is, Moses, whom they address in a very respectable manner, being the chief governor of the nation under God:

to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel;
which command may be seen, in ( Numbers 26:53-56 ) :

and my lord was commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of
Zelophehad our brother;
or kinsman, being of the same tribe:

unto his daughters;
who sued for it, and upon Moses's consulting the Lord about it, it was ordered they should have it, ( Numbers 27:1-11 ) and which these princes observed was likely to be attended with the following inconvenience.

1 约 瑟 的 後 裔 ， 玛 拿 西 的 孙 子 ， 玛 吉 的 儿 子 基 列 ， 他 子 孙 中 的 诸 族 长 来 到 摩 西 和 作 首 领 的 以 色 列 人 族 长 面 前 ， 说 ：

2 耶 和 华 曾 吩 咐 我 主 拈 阄 分 地 给 以 色 列 人 为 业 ， 我 主 也 受 了 耶 和 华 的 吩 咐 将 我 们 兄 弟 西 罗 非 哈 的 产 业 分 给 他 的 众 女 儿 。

3 他 们 若 嫁 以 色 列 别 支 派 的 人 ， 就 必 将 我 们 祖 宗 所 遗 留 的 产 业 加 在 他 们 丈 夫 支 派 的 产 业 中 。 这 样 ， 我 们 拈 阄 所 得 的 产 业 就 要 减 少 了 。

4 到 了 以 色 列 人 的 禧 年 ， 这 女 儿 的 产 业 就 必 加 在 他 们 丈 夫 支 派 的 产 业 上 。 这 样 ， 我 们 祖 宗 支 派 的 产 业 就 减 少 了 。

5 摩 西 照 耶 和 华 的 话 吩 咐 以 色 列 人 说 ： 约 瑟 支 派 的 人 说 得 有 理 。
