Kedemoth

Kedemoth [N] [E] [H]

(beginnings ), one of the towns in the district east of the Dead Sea allotted to the tribe of Reuben, ( Joshua 13:18 ) given by the Merarite Levites. ( Joshua 21:37 ; 1 Chronicles 6:79 ) It possibly conferred its name on the "wilderness," or uncultivated pasture land, "of Kedemoth." ( Numbers 21:33 ; deuteronomy 2:26 deuteronomy 2:27 ) etc.
