Naamathite

the Gentile name of one of Jobs friends, Zophar the Naamathite. ( Job 2:11 ; 11:1 ; 20:1 ; 42:9 ) There is no other trace of this name in the Bible, and the town whence it is derived is unknown. (But as Uz was in Arabia, probably the Naamah where he lived was on the Arabian borders of Syria.) [E] indicates this entry was also found in Easton's Bible Dictionary
