Bond

Bond [N]

an obligation of any kind ( Numbers 30:2 Numbers 30:4 Numbers 30:12 ). The word means also oppression or affliction ( Psalms 116:16 ; Phil 1:7 ). Christian love is the "bond of perfectness" ( Colossians 3:14 ), and the influences of the Spirit are the "bond of peace" ( Ephesians 4:3 ).
