Easton's Bible Dictionary - Dimnah

Dimnah [N] [S]

dunghill, a city of Zebulun given to the Merarite Levites ( Joshua 21:35 ). In 1 Chronicles 6:77 the name "Rimmon" is substituted.

A city of the Merarite Levites in the territory of Zebulun (Joshua 21:35). The name is probably a clerical error for Rimmon.
