1 John 1:4-7

4 And we are writing these things so ¹that our^[a] joy may be complete.

Walking in the Light

5 ²This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that ³God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

6 ⁴If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and ⁵do not practice the truth.

7 But ⁶if we walk in the light, ⁷as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and ⁸the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
