24
1The God who made the world and everything in it, being
2Lord of heaven and earth,
3does not live in temples made by man,
25
nor is he served by human hands,
4as though he needed anything, since he himself
5gives to all mankind
6life and breath and everything.
26
And
7he made from one man every nation of mankind to live
8on all the face of the earth,
9having determined allotted periods and
10the boundaries of their dwelling place,
27
11that they should seek God, in the hope that
12they might feel their way toward him and find him.
13Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,
28
for
14"'In him we live and move and have our being';as even some of
15your own poets have said, "'For we are indeed his offspring.'
29
16Being then God's offspring,
17we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man.
30
18The times of ignorance
19God overlooked, but
20now he
21commands all people everywhere to repent,
31
because he has fixed
22a day on which
23he will judge the world
24in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and
25of this he has given assurance to all
26by raising him from the dead."
