The other two sons of Jacob, by Leah:

Benjamin;
the youngest of all Jacob's sons is placed here, being his son by his beloved wife Rachel. Joseph is not put into the account, because he did not go into Egypt with Jacob.

1 These are the names of the sons of Israel (that is, Jacob) who came with him to Egypt with their families:

2 Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah;

3 Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin;

4 Dan and Naphtali; Gad and Asher.

5 Joseph was already in Egypt. The total number of Jacob's descendants was 70.
