Psalm 106:42 In-Context

The LORD burned with anger against his own people. He was disgusted with those who belonged to him.
He handed them over to other nations, and those who hated them ruled them.
Their enemies oppressed them and made them subject to their power.
He rescued them many times, but they continued to plot rebellion against him and to sink deeper because of their sin.
He saw that they were suffering when he heard their cry for help.
