And Hadad died
As is supposed, about A. M. 2241. and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead;
but who he was, or the place he was of, cannot be said.

34 Yovav died, and Husham of the land of the Temani reigned in his place.
35 Husham died, and Hadad, the son of Bedad, who struck Midyan in the field of Mo'av, reigned in his place. The name of his city was `Avit.
36 Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.
37 Samlah died, and Sha'ul of Rechovot by the river, reigned in his place.
38 Sha'ul died, and Ba`al-Hanan, the son of `Akhbor reigned in his place.
