Mark 8:9

And they that had eaten were about four thousand
That is, men, besides women and children, as Matthew observes; (See Gill on Matthew 15:38).

and he sent them away;
some that came dumb, with their speech, and deaf, with their hearing; others that were maimed, with perfect healing of their wounds, and with their limbs sound and whole; others that came lame, he dismissed leaping; and others that were blind, with their sight restored to them, and all of them full.

7 They had a few small fish. Having blessed them, he said to serve these also.
8 They ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets of broken pieces that were left over.
9 Those who had eaten were about four thousand. Then he sent them away.
10 Immediately he entered into the boat with his talmidim, and came into the region of Dalmanuta.
11 The Perushim came out and began to question him, seeking a sign from heaven from him, and tempting him.
