34 Y el profeta, y el sacerdote, y el pueblo, que dijere: Carga del SEÑOR; yo visitaré sobre tal hombre y sobre su casa

Jeremiah 23:34

And [as for] the prophet, and the priest, and the people
Be they one or the other, or all of them; no regard will be had to their character and office, rank and dignity: that shall say, the burden of the Lord;
using that phrase in a bantering and ludicrous manner: I will even punish that man and his house;
not only he, but his family, shall suffer for it. This shows how much it is resented by the Lord, and what a dangerous thing it is to lampoon the word of God, to make a jest of Scripture phrases, or to joke with them; this is foolish jesting, which is not convenient, yea, impious and abominable. It is also hard jesting with edge tools.

32 He aquí, yo estoy contra los que profetizan sueños mentirosos, dice el SEÑOR y los contaron, e hicieron errar a mi pueblo con sus mentiras y con sus lisonjas, y yo no los envié, ni les mandé; y ningún provecho hicieron a este pueblo, dijo el SEÑOR

33 Y cuando te preguntare este pueblo, o el profeta, o el sacerdote, diciendo: ¿Qué es la carga del SEÑOR? Les dirás: ¿Qué carga? Os dejaré, dijo el SEÑOR

35 Así diréis cada cual a su compañero, y cada cual a su hermano: ¿Qué respondió el SEÑOR, y qué habló el SEÑOR

36 Y nunca más os vendrá a la memoria decir: Carga del SEÑOR; porque la palabra de cada uno le será por carga; pues pervertisteis las palabras del Dios viviente, del SEÑOR de los ejércitos, Dios nuestro
