And if a kingdom be divided against itself
Any of the kingdoms of this world, and the kingdom of "Satan":

that kingdom cannot stand:
not long; its internal broils and divisions will, soon bring it to desolation; (See Gill on Matthew 12:25).

24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot remain.
25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot remain.
26 And if Satan rises up against himself and is divided, he cannot remain, but has an end.
