1 And it came to pass , that whenJesus had finishedthesesayings, he departedfromGalilee,andcameinto the coasts of JudaeabeyondJordan;
2 Andgreatmultitudesfollowedhim;and he healedthemthere.
3 The Phariseesalsocame unto him,temptinghim,andsaying unto him, Is it lawful* for a man to put awayhiswifeforeverycause?
4 And he answered and said unto them,Have yenotread , that he whichmade them at the beginningmadethemmaleandfemale,
5 Andsaid , For thiscause shall a manleavefatherandmother,and shall cleave to hiswife:and they twain shall be*oneflesh?
6 Wherefore they are no moretwain,butoneflesh.WhatthereforeGod hath joined together , letnotman put asunder .
7 They say unto him,Why did Mosesthencommand to give a writing of divorcement,and to putheraway ?
8 He saith unto them*, Moses because of the hardness of yourheartssufferedyou to put awayyourwives:butfrom the beginning it wasnotso.
9 And I say unto you*, Whosoevershall put awayhiswife,except it be forfornication,and shall marryanother, committeth adultery : and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery .
10 Hisdisciplessay unto him,If the case of the manbesowith his wife, it isnotgood to marry .
11 But he said unto them,All men cannotreceivethissaying,save they to whom it is given .
12 For there are some eunuchs,which were sobornfrom their mother'swomb:and there are some eunuchs,which were made eunuchsofmen:and there beeunuchs,which have madethemselveseunuchsfor the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
