28 The sons of Samuel: [Joel] his firstborn and Abijah the second.
29 The sons of Merari: Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,
30 Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, and Asaiah his son.
31 Now these [are the men] whom David appointed for {control of singing} in the house of Yahweh where the ark rested.
32 They were ministering with song before the tabernacle of the tent of assembly until Solomon built the temple of Yahweh in Jerusalem. And they stood according to their order with respect to their duty.
