Haggai 2:18 Meaning and Commentary

Haggai 2:18

Consider now from this day and upward
Or forward; for time to come, as the Vulgate Latin version: from the four and twentieth day of the ninth [month];
before observed, ( Haggai 2:10 Haggai 2:15 ) : even from the day that the foundation of the Lord's temple was laid,
consider [it];

19 [Is there] still seed in the store chamber? Do the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree still produce nothing? From this day [forward] I will bless [you].'"
20 And the word of Yahweh came to Haggai a second time on the twenty-fourth [day] of the month saying,
