Zechariah 3:6

And the Angel of the Lord protested unto Joshua, saying.
] He not only gave his word, but annexed his oath; he called as it were heaven and earth to witness; and this he did to confirm the faith of Joshua in the promises he was about to make, as well as in the blessings of grace bestowed upon him; as the pardon of his sins, the justification of his person, and acceptance with God.

4 L'ange, prenant la parole, dit Ă  ceux qui Ă©taient devant lui: Otez-lui les vĂȘtements sales! Puis il dit Ă  JosuĂ©: Vois, je t'enlĂšve ton iniquitĂ©, et je te revĂȘts d'habits de fĂȘte.
5 Je dis: Qu'on mette sur sa tĂȘte un turban pur! Et ils mirent un turban pur sur sa tĂȘte, et ils lui mirent des vĂȘtements. L'ange de l'Eternel Ă©tait lĂ .
6 L'ange de l'Eternel fit à Josué cette déclaration:
7 Ainsi parle l'Eternel des armées: Si tu marches dans mes voies et si tu observes mes ordres, tu jugeras ma maison et tu garderas mes parvis, et je te donnerai libre accÚs parmi ceux qui sont ici.
8 Ecoute donc, Josué, souverain sacrificateur, toi et tes compagnons qui sont assis devant toi! car ce sont des hommes qui serviront de signes. Voici, je ferai venir mon serviteur, le germe.
