1 John 1:8-10

8 ¹If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the ²truth is not in us.

9 ³If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and ⁴to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 ⁵If we say that we have not sinned, we ⁶make Him a liar and ⁷His word is not in us.
