1 John 4:17-19

17 By this, ¹love is perfected with us, so that we may have ²confidence in ³the day of judgment; because ⁴as He is, so also are we in this world.

18 There is no fear in love; but ⁵perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not ⁶perfected in love.

19 ⁷We love, because He first loved us.
