Daniel 9:24-27

Listen to Daniel 9:24-27

Seventy Weeks and the Messiah

24 "Seventy 1weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to 2make atonement for iniquity, to bring in 3everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place.
25 "So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a 4decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until 5Messiah the 6Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two * weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress.
26 "Then after the sixty-two * weeks the Messiah will be 7cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will 8destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a 9flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.
27 "And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of 10abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a 11complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."

The Messiahship of Jesus
The Messiahship of Jesus
Jack Hibbs

Love Beyond Measure - Jesus Christ went beyond. He went beyond all costs, all that is reasonable, to offer you and me the opportunity to be given a second chance at life, real life. But He has gone even beyond that. He has come to offer you and me new life, a better life, a life with Him that secures for us all that this world never could provide. Jesus Christ offers you actual freedom: freedom from your past, freedom from your fears, freedom from the demands of others and even freedom from religion. Jesus sets you free to live the life that He has intended for you, a life of peace and of joy. And when your time in this world has come to an end, He has promised to take your hand and lead you into heaven itself, which is beyond all that you can purchase with money or earn with good deeds. Jesus Christ offers you freely that which you could never afford. Will you consider who Jesus Christ really is today and the radical difference He can make in your life? Believe me - it's beyond what you can imagine.
