In this week’s program, we continue our journey through Joshua as we consider the connection between remembering God’s faithfulness and living with courage. After Israel crossed the Jordan River, God instructed them to take twelve stones from the riverbed and set them up as a memorial, a visible reminder of what He had done.Those stones were meant to tell the story of God’s faithfulness to future generations. In the same way, remembering the ways God has provided, answered prayer, guided us, and carried us through difficult moments can strengthen our faith when fear begins to take hold. As we remember what God has done, we are reminded that our lives are ultimately centered on Him, and that our experiences of His faithfulness are not only for us, but can encourage those who come after us.
