Ezekiel 23:36

The Lord said moreover unto me, son of man, wilt thou judge
Aholah and Aholibah?
&c.] Plead the cause of Israel and Judah? say any thing in their defence, and in excuse of them? or intercede and pray for them, that threatened judgments may not come upon them? no, do nothing of this kind; if thou wilt do anything, do as follows: yea, declare unto them their abominations;
their abominable sins, their murders, adulteries, and idolatries; set them in a true light before them, in all their aggravated circumstances; that, if it can be, they may be brought to a true sight and sense of them, to repent of them, be ashamed of them, loath them, confess them, and forsake them.

37 They are guilty of adultery and murder. They have taken part in adultery with their idols. They even offered our children as sacrifices in the fire to be food for these idols.
38 They have also done this to me: They made my Temple unclean at the same time they dishonored my Sabbaths
