Job 13:2

2 What you know, I also know. You are not better than I am.

Job 13:2 Meaning and Commentary

Job 13:2

What ye know, [the same] do I know also
Concerning God and his perfections, his sovereignty, holiness, justice, wisdom, power, goodness and concerning his providences, and his dealings with men in an ordinary or in an extraordinary way:

I [am] not inferior unto you;
as might be deduced from the preceding discourse; (See Gill on Job 12:3).

Job 13:2 In-Context

1 "Now my eyes have seen all this; my ears have heard and understood it.
2 What you know, I also know. You are not better than I am.
3 But I want to speak to the Almighty and to argue my case with God.
4 But you smear me with lies. You are worthless doctors, all of you!
5 I wish you would just stop talking; then you would really be wise!
