And his host
That is, the host of Gad, as distinct from those of Reuben and Simeon, which together formed the camp;

and those that were numbered of them, [were] forty and five thousand
and six hundred and fifty.

17 And the tabernacle of meeting shall move out with the camp of the Levites in the middle of the camps; as they camp, so they shall move out, everyone in his place, by their standards.
