Ezekiel 11:10

10 You will be slaughtered all the way to the borders of Israel. I will execute judgment on you, and you will know that I am the LORD .

Ezekiel 11:10 Meaning and Commentary

Ezekiel 11:10

Ye shall fall by the sword
Of the Chaldeans; not in the city of Jerusalem, but out of it, when it was broken up, and they fled: I will judge you in the border of Israel;
that is, inflict punishment on them, particularly by the sword; which was done at Riblah in the land of Hamath, where the sons of Zedekiah were slain, and all the princes of Judah, ( Jeremiah 52:9 Jeremiah 52:10 ) ; and this was on the border of the land of Israel, ( Numbers 34:8 Numbers 34:11 ) ; and ye shall know that I [am] the Lord;
who knows things, and foretells them before they are; and am able to accomplish all that is threatened; and am just and righteous in all my ways and works; and who am known by the judgments executed by me.

Ezekiel 11:10 In-Context

8 I will bring on you the sword of war you so greatly fear, says the Sovereign LORD .
9 I will drive you out of Jerusalem and hand you over to foreigners, who will carry out my judgments against you.
10 You will be slaughtered all the way to the borders of Israel. I will execute judgment on you, and you will know that I am the LORD .
11 No, this city will not be an iron pot for you, and you will not be like meat safe inside it. I will judge you even to the borders of Israel,
12 and you will know that I am the LORD . For you have refused to obey my decrees and regulations; instead, you have copied the standards of the nations around you.”
