When we experience trauma, depression can so very easily come on us like a tsunami! And you may wonder if there’s any hope! I’m happy to say there is hope and encouragement to be found in God’s Word, and our present series is unveiling that to us. We’re in First John once again, here on Light on the Hill. Pastor James Kaddis will be in chapter two, continuing a series called, “That Your Joy May Be Full.”

Thanks for hanging out with us, as we make a return visit to First John chapter one. We’re developing a series called, “That Your Joy May Be Full.” And as the name would suggest, this book was written so that our joy would be made full. We’re also learning some valuable truths that when applied will help us overcome depression. Today pastor James Kaddis turns our attention to chapter one verses 7-11.

Jesus is perfect light - the beacon that attracts our attention. Will I trust Him for everything?

How much of our Christianity is lived by a formula and not a relationship? Living by performance and not fellowship?

The world system has lured people into a sense of hopeless nothingness. We must understand the world is total darkness - not even a little light.

True Christianity is evidenced by love. Are you walking in the light of love or in the darkness of hate? In this eye-opening message from Pastor Jeff Schreve, discover how walking with Jesus is impossible if there is bitterness in your heart. The time is now to get things right, to forgive and to walk in the light of love.
