






We all go through hard times, and when we do it’s so very easy to become weary and overwhelmed. And maybe that’s right where you’re at today, wondering if there’s a way out of the pain and misery! Today on Sound Doctrine we’ll hear what Jesus has to say to those that are feeling weighed down by life, and the freedom and refreshment that is found in coming to Him!

People everywhere are growing weary and burdened as they look at the problems in the world and in their life. Many are looking for relief. The good news is we can find rest and salvation in Jesus. How do we know this? Jesus said so Himself.

With the love of God to guide us and the God of love to guard us why do we worry? We’re Learning how to cast our cares on the Lord through prayer, trusting our loving God can take care of us here on Study the Word. What hinders us in coming to God for rest? The way we pray reflects what we believe about God. For example what does it say about someone who goes to a prayer meeting to pray for rain, but doesn’t bring an umbrella? We continue today in the gospel of Mathew with some lessons on prayer. In Mathew chapter eleven we find Jesus praying. From His simple and straightforward prayer we can glean some practical insights that help us in our prayer lives!

Yoke yourself with the greatest relationship in the universe, the Eternal Father and His Eternal Son. Yoke yourself to His love, peace, joy – to the mysteries of His character. Then this burden of an impossible relationship becomes light and easy. This is BIG NEWS!

Father has only one relationship of fellowship in the universe - it is with the Son! No one knows the Father like the Son, here is the big news …neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and He to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Jesus can and will reveal the Father to anyone He wants!
