13 porque estamos a punto de destruir este lugar por completo. El clamor contra esta ciudad es tan grande que ha llegado hasta el Señor

Genesis 19:13

For we will destroy this place
Or "we are destroying it" {p}, are about to do it, and will quickly and immediately do it: because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord;
the cry of the sins of the inhabitants of it, which were many, and openly, and daringly committed, and reached to heaven, and called for immediate vengeance and punishment: and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it;
by which they discovered themselves to be angels, and what their business was, to destroy Sodom; and which confutes the notion of the Jews, that they were sent on different errands; whereas it is clear from hence, these two were sent to do one and the same thing; (See Gill on Genesis 18:2).

11 Luego dejaron ciegos a todos los hombres que estaban en la puerta de la casa, tanto jóvenes como mayores, los cuales abandonaron su intento de entrar.

12 Mientras tanto, los ángeles le preguntaron a Lot:
—¿Tienes otros familiares en esta ciudad? Sácalos de aquí, a tus yernos, hijos, hijas o cualquier otro,

13 porque estamos a punto de destruir este lugar por completo. El clamor contra esta ciudad es tan grande que ha llegado hasta el Señor
, y él nos ha enviado para destruirla.

14 Entonces Lot salió con prisa a contarles a los prometidos de sus hijas: «¡Rápido, salgan de la ciudad! El Señor
está a punto de destruirla»; pero los jóvenes pensaron que lo decía en broma.

15 Al amanecer de la mañana siguiente, los ángeles insistieron:
—Apresúrate —le dijeron a Lot—. Toma a tu esposa y a tus dos hijas que están aquí. ¡Vete ahora mismo, o serás arrastrado en la destrucción de la ciudad!
