Llamado al arrepentimiento

13 Vístanse de duelo y giman, sacerdotes;laméntense, ministros del altar.Vengan, ministros de mi Dios,y pasen la noche vestidos de luto,porque las ofrendas de cereales y las libacioneshan sido suspendidas en la casa de su Dios.

Joel 1:13

Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests
Prepare and be ready to raise up lamentation and mourning; or gird yourselves with sackcloth, and mourn in that, as Aben Ezra and Kimchi supply the words; see ( Jeremiah 4:8 ) ; howl, ye ministers of the altar;
who served there, by laying on and burning the sacrifices, or offering incense: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God;
that is, come into the house of the Lord, as Kimchi; into the court of the priests, and there lie all night, in the sackcloth girded with; putting up prayers to God, with weeping and lamentations, that he would avert the judgments that were come or were coming upon theme: for the meat offering and the drink offering are withholden from the
house of your God; (See Gill on Joel 1:9).

11 Séquense también ustedes, labradores;giman, viñadores,por el trigo y la cebada,porque se ha perdido la cosecha de los campos.

12 La vid se marchitó;languideció la higuera;se marchitaron los granados,las palmeras, los manzanos,¡todos los árboles del campo!¡Y hasta la alegría de la gente acabó por marchitarse!

14 Entréguense al ayuno,convoquen a una asamblea solemne.Reúnan a los ancianos del puebloen la casa del SEÑOR su Dios;reúnan a todos los habitantes del país,y clamen al SEÑOR.

15 ¡Ay de aquel día, el día del SEÑOR, que ya se aproxima!Vendrá como devastación de parte del Todopoderoso.
