Luke 20:35

But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that
world
The world to come, eternal life and happiness; not by their own works and merits, but through the blood, sacrifice, and righteousness of the Messiah; and the resurrection from the dead;
that is, the first resurrection, the resurrection unto life, which only the dead in Christ will enjoy; otherwise all will be raised: but some to the resurrection of damnation: these neither marry, nor are given in marriage;
there will be no need of any such practice, for the reasons that follow.

33 Ahora bien, en la resurrección, ¿de cuál será esposa esta mujer, ya que los siete estuvieron casados con ella?

34 —La gente de este mundo se casa y se da en casamiento —les contestó Jesús—.

35 Pero en cuanto a los que sean dignos de tomar parte en el mundo venidero por la resurrección: esos no se casarán ni serán dados en casamiento,

36 ni tampoco podrán morir, pues serán como los ángeles. Son hijos de Dios porque toman parte en la resurrección.

37 Pero que los muertos resucitan lo dio a entender Moisés mismo en el pasaje sobre la zarza, pues llama al Señor “el Dios de Abraham, de Isaac y de Jacob”.
