Los treinta dichos de los sabios

17 Presta atención, escucha mis palabras;^[a]aplica tu corazón a mi conocimiento.

18 Grato es retenerlas dentro de ti,y tenerlas todas a flor de labio.

19 A ti te las enseño en este día,para que pongas tu confianza en el SEÑOR.

20 ¿Acaso no te he escrito treinta^[b] dichosque contienen sabios consejos?

21 Son para enseñarte palabras ciertas y confiables,para que sepas responder bien a quien te pregunte.^[c]

INTRODUCTION TO 1 KINGS 10

This chapter contains an account of the queen of Sheba's visit to King Solomon to her great satisfaction, 1Ki 10:1-13, of Solomon's merchandise and riches, and the magnificence of his court, 1Ki 10:14-23, of the rich presents sent to him, and of the purchase of chariots and horses, and other things, he made, 1Ki 10:24-29.
