1 Dì qī nián , Yéhéyédà fèn yǒng zì qiáng , jiāng bǎifūzhǎng Yéluóhǎn de érzi Yàsālìyǎ , Yuēhānán de érzi Yǐshímǎlì , Ébeìdé de érzi Yàsālìyǎ , Yàdàyǎ de érzi Mǎxīyǎ , Xìjīlì de érzi Yǐlìshā fǎ zhào lái , yǔ tāmen lì yuē .
1 In the seventh year Jehoiada showed his strength. He made a covenant with the commanders of units of a hundred: Azariah son of Jeroham, Ishmael son of Jehohanan, Azariah son of Obed, Maaseiah son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat son of Zikri.
2 Tāmen zǒu biàn Yóudà , cóng Yóudà gè chéng lǐ zhāo jù Lìwèi rén hé Yǐsèliè de zhòng zúzhǎng dào Yēlùsǎlĕng lái .
2 They went throughout Judah and gathered the Levites and the heads of Israelite families from all the towns. When they came to Jerusalem,
3 Huì zhòng zaì shén diàn lǐ yǔ wáng lì yuē . Yéhéyédà duì tāmen shuō , kàn nǎ , wáng de érzi bì dāng zuò wáng , zhēng rú Yēhéhuá zhǐ zhe Dàwèi zǐsūn suǒ yīngxǔ de huà .
3 the whole assembly made a covenant with the king at the temple of God. Jehoiada said to them, “The king’s son shall reign, as the LORD promised concerning the descendants of David.
4 Yòu shuō , nǐmen dāng zhèyàng xíng , jìsī hé Lìwèi rén fán ānxīrì jìn bān de , sān fēn ...zhīyī yào bǎshǒu gè mén ,
4 Now this is what you are to do: A third of you priests and Levites who are going on duty on the Sabbath are to keep watch at the doors,
5 Sān fēn zhīyī yào zaì wánggōng , sān fēn zhīyī yào zaì jī zhǐ mén . zhòng bǎixìng yào zaì Yēhéhuá diàn de yuàn neì .
5 a third of you at the royal palace and a third at the Foundation Gate, and all the others are to be in the courtyards of the temple of the LORD.
6 Chúle jìsī hé gòngzhí de Lìwèi rén zhī waì , bù zhún biérén jìn Yēhéhuá de diàn . wéidú tāmen kĕyǐ jìn qù , yīnwei tāmen shèngjié . zhòng bǎixìng yào zūnshǒu Yēhéhuá suǒ fēnfu de .
6 No one is to enter the temple of the LORD except the priests and Levites on duty; they may enter because they are consecrated, but all the others are to observe the LORD’s command not to enter.
7 Lìwèi rén yào shǒu zhōng gè ná bīngqì , sìwéi hùwèi wáng . fán shàn rù diàn yǔ de , bì dāng zhìsǐ . wáng chūrù de shíhou , nǐmen dāng gēnsuí tā .
7 The Levites are to station themselves around the king, each with weapon in hand. Anyone who enters the temple is to be put to death. Stay close to the king wherever he goes.”
8 Lìwèi rén hé Yóudà zhòngrén dōu zhào zhe jìsī Yéhéyédà yīqiè suǒ fēnfu de qù xíng , gè daì suǒ guǎn ānxīrì jìn bān chū bān de rén lái , yīnwei jìsī Yéhéyédà bù xǔ tāmen xiàbān .
8 The Levites and all the men of Judah did just as Jehoiada the priest ordered. Each one took his men—those who were going on duty on the Sabbath and those who were going off duty—for Jehoiada the priest had not released any of the divisions.
9 Jìsī Yéhéyédàbiàn jiāng shén diàn lǐ suǒ cáng Dàwèi wáng de qiāng , dùnpái , dàng pái jiāo gĕi bǎifūzhǎng ,
9 Then he gave the commanders of units of a hundred the spears and the large and small shields that had belonged to King David and that were in the temple of God.
10 Yòu fēn paì zhòng mín shǒu zhōng gè ná bīngqì , zaì tán hé diàn nàli , cóng diàn yòu zhídào diàn zuǒ , zhàn zaì wáng zǐ de sìwéi .
10 He stationed all the men, each with his weapon in his hand, around the king—near the altar and the temple, from the south side to the north side of the temple.
11 Yúshì lǐng wáng zǐ chūlai , gĕi tā daì shàng guānmiǎn , jiāng lǜfǎ shū jiāo gĕi tā , lì tā zuò wáng . Yéhéyédà hé zhòng zǐ gāo tā , zhòngrén shuō , yuàn wáng wàn suì .
11 Jehoiada and his sons brought out the king’s son and put the crown on him; they presented him with a copy of the covenant and proclaimed him king. They anointed him and shouted, “Long live the king!”
12 Yà tā lì yǎ tīngjian mín bēnzǒu zànmĕi wáng de shēngyīn , jiù dào mín nàli , jìn Yēhéhuá de diàn ,
12 When Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and cheering the king, she went to them at the temple of the LORD.
13 Kànjian wáng zhàn zaì diàn mén de zhù páng , bǎifūzhǎng hé chuīhào de rén shì lì zaì wáng zuǒyòu , guó mín dōu huānlè chuīhào , yòu yǒu gē chàng de , yòng gèyàng de lè qì lǐng rén gē chàng zànmĕi . Yàtālìyǎ jiù sī liè yīfu , hǎnjiào shuō , fǎn le . fǎn le .
13 She looked, and there was the king, standing by his pillar at the entrance. The officers and the trumpeters were beside the king, and all the people of the land were rejoicing and blowing trumpets, and musicians with their instruments were leading the praises. Then Athaliah tore her robes and shouted, “Treason! Treason!”
14 Jìsī Yéhéyédà daì guǎnxiá jūn bīng de bǎifūzhǎng chūlai , fēnfu tāmen shuō , jiāng tā gǎn dào bān waì , fán gēnsuí tāde bì yòng dāo shā sǐ . yīnwei jìsī shuō , bùkĕ zaì Yēhéhuá diàn lǐ shā tā .
14 Jehoiada the priest sent out the commanders of units of a hundred, who were in charge of the troops, and said to them: “Bring her out between the ranks and put to the sword anyone who follows her.” For the priest had said, “Do not put her to death at the temple of the LORD.”
15 Zhòng bīng jiù Shǎn kāi , ràng tā qù . tā zǒu dào wánggōng de mǎ mén , biàn zaì nàli bǎ tā shā le .
15 So they seized her as she reached the entrance of the Horse Gate on the palace grounds, and there they put her to death.
16 Yéhéyédà yǔ zhòng mín hé wáng lì yuē , dōu yào zuò Yēhéhuá de mín .
16 Jehoiada then made a covenant that he, the people and the king would be the LORD’s people.
17 Yúshì zhòng mín dōu dào bā lì miào , chāihuǐ le miào , dá suì tán hé xiàng , yòu zaì tán qián jiāng bā lì de jìsī mǎ tǎn shā le .
17 All the people went to the temple of Baal and tore it down. They smashed the altars and idols and killed Mattan the priest of Baal in front of the altars.
18 Yéhéyédà paì guān kānshǒu Yēhéhuá de diàn , shì zaì jìsī Lìwèi rén shǒu xià . zhè jìsī Lìwèi rén shì Dàwèi fēn paì zaì Yēhéhuá diàn zhōng , zhào Móxī lǜfǎ shàng suǒ xiĕ de , gĕi Yēhéhuá xiàn Fánjì , yòu àn Dàwèi suǒ déng de lì , huānlè gē chàng .
18 Then Jehoiada placed the oversight of the temple of the LORD in the hands of the Levitical priests, to whom David had made assignments in the temple, to present the burnt offerings of the LORD as written in the Law of Moses, with rejoicing and singing, as David had ordered.
19 Qiĕ shèlì shǒu mén de bǎshǒu Yēhéhuá diàn de gè mén , wúlùn wèihé shì , bù jiéjìng de rén dōu bù zhún jìn qù .
19 He also stationed gatekeepers at the gates of the LORD’s temple so that no one who was in any way unclean might enter.
20 Yòu shuaìlǐng bǎifūzhǎng hé guìzhòu , yǔ mínjiān de guān zhǎng , bìng guó zhōng de zhòng mín , qǐng wáng cóng Yēhéhuá diàn xià lái , yóu shàng mén jìnrù wánggōng , lì wáng zuò zaì guó wèi shàng .
20 He took with him the commanders of hundreds, the nobles, the rulers of the people and all the people of the land and brought the king down from the temple of the LORD. They went into the palace through the Upper Gate and seated the king on the royal throne.
21 Guó mín dōu huānlè , hé chéng dōu ānjìng . zhòngrén yǐ jiāng Yàtālìyǎ yòng dāo shā le .
21 All the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was calm, because Athaliah had been slain with the sword.
