1 Suǒluómén jiù zaì Yēlùsǎlĕng , Yēhéhuá xiàng tā fù Dàwèi xiǎnxiàn de Mólìya shān shang , jiù shì Yēbùsīrén a ĕrnán de hécháng shang , Dàwèi suǒ zhǐ déng de dìfang yùbeì hǎo le , kāi gōng jiànzào Yēhéhuá de diàn .

Then Solomon began to build the temple of the LORD in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD had appeared to his father David. It was on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite, the place provided by David.
2 Suǒluómén zuò wáng dì sì nián èr yuè chū èr rì kāi gōng jiànzào .

He began building on the second day of the second month in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Suǒluómén jiànzhù shén diàn de gēnjī , nǎi shì zhèyàng , zhǎng liù shí zhǒu , kuān èr shí zhǒu , dōu àn zhāo gǔ shí de chǐcùn .

The foundation Solomon laid for building the temple of God was sixty cubits long and twenty cubits wide (using the cubit of the old standard).

The portico at the front of the temple was twenty cubits long across the width of the building and twenty cubits high. He overlaid the inside with pure gold.

He paneled the main hall with juniper and covered it with fine gold and decorated it with palm tree and chain designs.
6 Yòu yòng bǎoshí zhuāngshì diàn qiáng , shǐ diàn huámĕi . suǒ yòng de jīnzi dōu shì Bāwàyīn de jīnzi .

He adorned the temple with precious stones. And the gold he used was gold of Parvaim.
7 Yòu yòng jīnzi tiē diàn hé diàn de liàn liáng , mén jiàn , qiáng bì , mén shān . qiáng shang diāokè Jīlùbǎi .

He overlaid the ceiling beams, doorframes, walls and doors of the temple with gold, and he carved cherubim on the walls.
8 Yòu jiànzào zhì shèng suǒ , zhǎng èr shí zhǒu , yǔ diàn de kuān zhǎi yíyàng , kuān yĕ shì èr shí zhǒu . tiē shang jīng jīn , gōng yòng jīnzi liù bǎi tā lián dé .

He built the Most Holy Place, its length corresponding to the width of the temple—twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide. He overlaid the inside with six hundred talents of fine gold.
9 Jīn dīng zhòng wǔ shí Shĕkèlè . lóu fáng dōu tiē shang jīnzi .

The gold nails weighed fifty shekels. He also overlaid the upper parts with gold.
10 Zaì zhì shèng suǒ àn zào xiàng de fǎzi zào liǎng gè Jīlùbǎi , yòng jīnzi bāoguǒ .

For the Most Holy Place he made a pair of sculptured cherubim and overlaid them with gold.
11 Liǎng gè Jīlùbǎi de chìbǎng gōng zhǎng èr shí zhǒu . zhè Jīlùbǎi de yī gè chìbǎng zhǎng wǔ zhǒu , ái zhe diàn zhèbiān de qiáng . nà yī gè chìbǎng yĕ zhǎng wǔ zhǒu , yǔ nà Jīlùbǎi chìbǎng xiāng jiē .

The total wingspan of the cherubim was twenty cubits. One wing of the first cherub was five cubits long and touched the temple wall, while its other wing, also five cubits long, touched the wing of the other cherub.
12 Nà Jīlùbǎi de yī gè chìbǎng zhǎng wǔ zhǒu , ái zhe diàn nàbiān de qiáng . nà yī gè chìbǎng yĕ chǎng wǔ zhǒu , yǔ zhè Jīlùbǎi de chìbǎng xiāng jiē .

Similarly one wing of the second cherub was five cubits long and touched the other temple wall, and its other wing, also five cubits long, touched the wing of the first cherub.
13 Liǎng gè Jīlùbǎi zhāng kāi chìbǎng , gōng zhǎng èr shí zhǒu , miàn xiàng waì diàn ér lì .

The wings of these cherubim extended twenty cubits. They stood on their feet, facing the main hall.
14 Yòu yòng lán sè , zǐse , zhūhóngsē xiàn hé xì má zhī mànzǐ , zaì qí shang xiù chū Jīlùbǎi lái .

He made the curtain of blue, purple and crimson yarn and fine linen, with cherubim worked into it.
15 Zaì diàn qián zào le liǎng gēn zhùzi , gāo sān shí wǔ zhǒu . mĕi zhù dǐng gāo wǔ zhǒu .

For the front of the temple he made two pillars, which together were thirty-five cubits long, each with a capital five cubits high.
16 Yòu zhào shèng suǒ neì liànzi de yàngshì zuò liànzi , ān zaì zhù dǐng shang . yòu zuò yī bǎi shíliu , ān zaì liànzi shang .

He made interwoven chains and put them on top of the pillars. He also made a hundred pomegranates and attached them to the chains.
17 Jiāng liǎng gēn zhùzi lì zaì diàn qián , yī gēn zaì yòubiān , yī gēn zaì zuǒbiān . yòubiān de qǐmíng jiào Yǎjīn , zuǒbiān de qǐmíng jiào Bōesī .

He erected the pillars in the front of the temple, one to the south and one to the north. The one to the south he named Jakin and the one to the north Boaz.
