KJV 1 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD. NIV 1 Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD; KJV 2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. NIV 2 Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. KJV 3 If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? NIV 3 If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? KJV 4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. NIV 4 But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you. KJV 5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. NIV 5 I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. KJV 6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. NIV 6 I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning. KJV 7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. NIV 7 Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. KJV 8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. NIV 8 He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
